Project Description

The moss is specially made for the APS new web site. The foreground carpet of moss is made out of Riccia moss. The moss is tied to the roots using cotton thread which covers the foreground in the aquarium.

Hemianthus Micranthemoides and Ludwigia inclinata in the back ground (rapid growth, smaller) and Pygmy Chain Sword in the mid ground (regular and medium growing). Central in the aquarium is a group of Blyxa Japonica and Cryptocoryne Wenditi.

Tip! Frequent pruning of stem plants promotes shorter distance between the set of leaves (more compact growth) and often also longer/smaller leaves.
